Replace a faulty TCU without compatibility headaches. We clone transmission control data, coding, and adaptives to replacement modules so your gearbox behaves exactly like before. Mail-in and mobile service available across Canada.
TCU cloning copies the contents of your vehicle’s Transmission Control Unit (TCU) — including shift maps, adaptive learning data, VIN/coding, and security information — onto another unit. Cloning is the safest method for replacing a damaged TCU because it preserves transmission-specific calibrations and adaptive behavior, preventing limp modes, shifting problems, or immobilizer conflicts.
Our technicians specialize in transmission electronics and use professional-grade cloning and diagnostic tools to ensure reliable, accurate transfers.
We transfer adaptive values, shift maps, and calibration data so the replacement TCU keeps the same shift feel and performance as the original unit.
We clone TCUs as well as related transmission modules and controllers — including dual-clutch modules and automatic transmission controllers.
Local customers in Metro Vancouver can receive on-site/mobile support; customers across Canada can use our secure mail-in service for reliable turnaround.
We create a complete backup of the donor module and perform thorough bench and in-vehicle testing before returning the cloned TCU.

Cloning copies all original transmission-specific data (adaptives, VIN, maps) to a replacement unit. Reprogramming/Flashing writes new firmware or calibration but may not transfer adaptive learning or vehicle-specific coding.
Most TCUs are cloneable, but some highly protected or manufacturer-locked units require special procedures. Provide make, model, year, and TCU part number for a compatibility check.
If shifting issues are caused by corrupt TCU data or a faulty module, cloning to a healthy unit can restore correct behavior. Mechanical transmission problems should be diagnosed separately.
TCU cloning generally does not affect key immobilizer systems, but in some vehicles security elements are linked across modules. We’ll advise during diagnosis and perform any required synching.
Bench cloning typically takes 1–3 business days including testing. On-site or OBD-dependent cases may be completed faster.
Send the TCU module, VIN, photos showing part numbers, and a brief description of symptoms. We provide packing and shipping instructions after booking.
